Tour Description
While Costa Rica has dozens of zip-lines, Rio Perdido’s inspired team has truly innovated with their “Canyon Adventure” experience, which features a sequence of ultra-modern, carbon fiber zip lines that descend from suspended platforms (attached to solid rock cliff walls). Also on the adventure menu are the “challenge” bridge that crosses the canyon, the human pendulum cable, the multiple “via ferratas”, and the awesome “Tarzan swing”.Perhaps
Perhaps the unique experience is simply hiking within the Rio Perdido (“Lost River”) canyon and bathing in its crystal-clear thermal waters. Visitors marvel at how the multiple thermo-mineral springs convert a cool stream into the soothing thermal river, with temperatures ranging from 90 to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
Swimming in the natural (untouched), warm river pools is quite a treat. Please, do not forget your bathing suit for this hike!
After your visit to the springs, enjoy the cliff-top mineral pools and decks with a private swim-up bar. An authentic Guanacaste culinary experience awaits you at the restaurant where a fresh and delicious lunch will be served to perfectly complement your journey.
